WHOA GUYS!

I had some amazing tacos! Are you really that surprised? These are from a local bar restaurant in Kenosha. They had amazing flavor and really just blew me away. These came really close to beating my favorite tacos from Seven Mile Fair. The taco had shrimp, avocado (which I could start a whole sister blog about), and your typical taco ingredients. They are definitely better than La Fogata. You have to make a trip down there. My friend Anna's cousins own the establishment so go and support your local businesses.

When I see tacos...

It's almost TACO TUESDAY! You already know I am going to be eating tacos tomorrow. I plan on visiting La Fogata in Kenosha, stay tuned for photos.

Baja (not really) Fresh

I recently visited Baja Fresh at Carthage College to try their tacos. I ordered the two baja style taco combo. The tacos had shrimp, sour cream, onions, and cilantro. Overall, I am not really that impressed. The first bite I took was all sour cream and tortilla. The shrimp was heavily seasoned and there really wasn't a memorable taste. The plate was disorganized and just looked unpleasant (pictures below). Taco bell (ugh) has way more flavor than Baja's.

Why Tacos?

So I am assuming a lot of you are wondering why I am qualified to rate different tacos from various places. I am going to be completely honest, I have no taco-related credentials but I eat them ALL the time. My personal facebook is filled with taco related memes and gifs. I will probably post them on here too because why not?

My all time favorite taco (ever) was from Seven Mile Fair in Caledonia, WI. I will post my picture of my glorious tacos below. Believe me when I tell you, I think I died and went to heaven. My Aunt brought me there because she knew I had to try the tacos. If I have time, I will make a video post about them but no promises. I don't know if any of the tacos I will be posting will be as delicious as these.

I will be posting a Baja Fresh taco from Carthage College this week, so keep an eye out for that!
